Nollendorfplatz is a square in the Sch\u00f6neberg district of Berlin. As Kram explains<\/a>, \u201cfor over a hundred years, the square has been one of the most important scenes in the history of gay emancipation worldwide\u201d, which is why he named his blog after the square to commemorate the LGBT community\u2019s pioneers. Kram\u2019s Nollendorfblog was nominated for the 2016 Grimme Online Award<\/a> in the category \u2018Knowledge and Education\u2019.<\/p>\n
